Deck staining in Greater Lansing

Peeling house-paint on deck flats, weathered gray boards, or HOA curb-appeal pressure — we restore decks the right way, not with a quick slap of house paint.

Process

  1. Wash the deck thoroughly.
  2. Strip only when house paint was applied to horizontal surfaces (it fails fast).
  3. Let wood dry fully before coating.
  4. Apply deck stain (solid, semi, or transparent) — typically two coats on horizontals, one on verticals unless changing color.
