Our exterior process

1. Power washing — clean surfaces so paint can adhere.
2. Moisture testing — we measure wood moisture after washing. Painting wet wood traps water and causes peel — Michigan freeze-thaw makes this non-negotiable.
3. Prep — scrape loose paint, prime bare wood, caulk gaps, and fill carpenter-bee or woodpecker holes.
4. Wood replacement — boards that need it get primed on all sides before install so water can’t sneak in from behind.
5. Paint — brush-and-roll or spray, one to two coats depending on the project. Vinyl, aluminum, wood siding, and trim-only jobs are all in scope.

If rain is coming, we’ll call you in the morning — not leave you wondering. We use Sherwin-Williams products on exteriors.
